About the Role
As a key member of the Western Coast Insurance Services team, the Facilities Operations Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities across Canada. With over 220 locations and a team of over 2,100 members, we take pride in delivering exceptional service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and coordinate work requests for outside contractors, overseeing the completion of assigned work and services.
- Coordinate all office moves and operations of common areas, ensuring minimal disruption to our business.
- Recommend changes and improvements to existing standards, policies, and procedures to enhance our facilities management.
- Process service requests received and maintain a database of requests to meet reporting and analysis requirements.
- Monitor and order facility maintenance inventory and supplies, ensuring we have the necessary resources to maintain our facilities.
- Manage the maintenance of the facilities and grounds, ensuring service standard processes and compliance with applicable local laws, rules, and regulations.
- Maintain databases tracking service vendors, contracts, and facilities inventory/supplies.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in facilities administration or providing facilities-focused administrative coordination.
- Designation from a recognized Facility Management Association is an asset.
- Previous insurance industry experience is an asset.
What We Offer
- Full-time position with 37.5 hours per week.
- Competitive compensation range of $38,000 - $53,000.
