As a key member of the Broadstreet Properties Ltd. team, the Facilities Scheduler plays a vital role in supporting the Maintenance Team by planning and scheduling work orders for the Maintenance Technicians. This role requires a strong ability to prioritize and manage the monthly workload, as well as to support and coach colleagues when needed.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing an effective scheduling management system
  • Planning and scheduling work orders and preventive maintenance inspections
  • Monitoring and tracking SLAs for work orders
  • Ensuring compliance with safety requirements for every inspection
  • Resolving scheduling problems and/or issues
  • Verifying resource requirements and availability before scheduling work
  • Collaborating with Maintenance Technicians to accommodate changes to work orders
  • Coordinating with Team Leads on monthly, quarterly, and annual inspections
  • Coordinating with Site Managers to reschedule work to improve tenant satisfaction
  • Generating reports and schedules
  • Attending daily/weekly/monthly meetings with Senior Facilities Coordinators and other positions as needed
  • Providing feedback on process improvements

What You Need to Succeed:

  • Diploma or secondary education would be considered an asset
  • Excellent teamwork and team building skills
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Strong attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Effective time management and ability to prioritize needs
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable learning new software programs
  • Advanced level of proficiency with MS Office Suite and data entering
  • Additional languages would be considered an asset
