Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Delta Hotels Sherbrooke Conference Centre. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of guest rooms and public areas, providing exceptional customer service, and working collaboratively with our housekeeping and laundry team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and provide excellent customer service
  • Prepare and maintain guest rooms, including making beds, changing linens, and cleaning bathrooms
  • Restock guest rooms with amenities and supplies
  • Transport housekeeping carts and equipment to assigned areas
  • Perform floor care duties, including vacuuming and dusting
  • Follow all company and safety policies and procedures
  • Work collaboratively with the housekeeping and laundry team to ensure efficient and effective operations
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • No prior work experience required
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to push and pull housekeeping carts and equipment
  • Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field
  • Knowledge of cleaning and maintenance procedures
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
