Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Team Member to join our team at Delta Hotels Sherbrooke Conference Centre. As a Housekeeping Team Member, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our guest rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Restock and maintain housekeeping carts and supplies.
  • Enter guest rooms in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring that all amenities and supplies are replenished.
  • Clean and maintain bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, showers, and bathtubs.
  • Replace dirty linens and towels with clean ones, and make beds.
  • Remove trash, dirty linen, and room service items from guest rooms.
  • Check that all appliances and furniture are in good working order and report any maintenance issues.
  • Perform floor care duties, including vacuuming and dusting.
  • Work collaboratively with other housekeeping team members to ensure that all areas of the hotel are clean and well-maintained.
Requirements
  • No prior housekeeping experience is required, but a strong work ethic and attention to detail are essential.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance, and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
  • Ability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other work-related equipment over sloping and uneven surfaces.
  • Ability to stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight.
