Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Team Member to join our team at Delta Hotels Sherbrooke Conference Centre. As a Housekeeping Team Member, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our guest rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Restock and maintain housekeeping carts and supplies.
  • Enter guest rooms in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring that all amenities and supplies are replenished.
  • Clean and maintain bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, showers, and bathtubs.
  • Replace dirty linens and towels with clean ones, and make beds.
  • Remove trash, dirty linen, and room service items from guest rooms.
  • Check that all appliances and furniture are in good working order and report any maintenance issues.
  • Perform floor care duties, including vacuuming and dusting.
  • Work collaboratively with other housekeeping staff to ensure that all areas of the hotel are clean and well-maintained.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • No prior housekeeping experience necessary, but a willingness to learn and take direction is essential.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and push heavy objects, including housekeeping carts and cleaning equipment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
