**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Lifemark Seniors Wellness. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality therapy services to seniors in long-term care settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive clinical evaluations, including admission assessments, ADL assessments, and specialized seating and positioning assessments.
  • Identify and recommend appropriate equipment needs, and consult with local vendors to facilitate trials and applications.
  • Provide education and training to clients and families on independence with activities of daily living, wheelchairs, and adaptive aides.
  • Monitor and record assessment and treatment interventions in client charts, adhering to guidelines established by the College of Occupational Therapists.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Requirements:

  • Registration with the Provincial Association of Occupational Therapists.
  • ADP Authorization is required.
  • Experience in long-term care is preferred.
