We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Occupational Therapist to join our team at Rehab First Inc. as a Hybrid Position. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing services to clients with a variety of injury or illness, including physical, cognitive, and mental health conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Complete general and specialized assessments to determine clients' physical and cognitive capacities, mobility, and attendant care needs.
- Develop treatment plans with clients to address their specific needs and goals.
- Provide client treatment in the clinic, community, home, or workplace, utilizing a variety of techniques and strategies.
- Work collaboratively with clients who have complex needs, including those with physical, cognitive, and mental health conditions.
- Prepare and submit case notes and reports to ensure accurate documentation and communication with clients and stakeholders.
- Contribute to a multidisciplinary team environment, working collaboratively with colleagues to provide comprehensive care and support to clients.
- Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent.
- Current registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO).
- Up to two years of experience working in the field of occupational therapy, with a strong understanding of assessment and treatment techniques.
- Experience with Ontario's Statutory Accident Benefits Schedule (SABS) is an asset.
- Valid CPR certificate and a valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle.
- Completion of a satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check within the last six months.
