Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and spiritually mature Director of Worship and Arts to lead our church in worship and arts ministry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in music and worship, with experience in leading worship teams and developing new musicians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Worship Teams: Oversee and lead worship teams in planning and executing high-quality worship services that are Christ-centered and Scripturally-saturated.
  • Develop New Musicians: Recruit, train, and equip new musicians to join the worship team, with a focus on theologically grounding them in the significance and purpose of gathered worship through song.
  • Oversee Worship Ministry: Oversee the overall worship ministry, including planning and executing special events, concerts, and other worship-related activities.
  • Collaborate with Staff: Work closely with other staff members to ensure a cohesive and effective ministry that aligns with the church's mission and vision.
  • Disciple and Mentor: Disciple and mentor worship team members, providing guidance and support to help them grow in their faith and ministry.
Requirements
  • Theological Education: A degree in theology or a related field is preferred, but not required.
  • Experience in Worship Ministry: Significant experience in worship ministry, including leading worship teams and developing new musicians.
  • Strong Leadership Skills: Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members, staff, and congregation.
  • Strong Spiritual Maturity: A strong spiritual maturity, with a deep commitment to Jesus Christ and a passion for worship and arts ministry.
