Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT Director to join our team at the Alliance for Arts and Culture. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading our IT department and ensuring the smooth operation of our technology infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  1. IT Strategy and Planning

    • Develop and implement a comprehensive IT strategy that aligns with the organization's goals and objectives

    • Collaborate with senior leadership to identify and prioritize IT projects and initiatives

    • Develop and manage IT budgets and resource allocation plans
  2. IT Operations and Management

    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT department, including help desk support, network administration, and system maintenance

    • Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network systems

    • Ensure the security and integrity of our technology systems and data
  3. Team Leadership and Development

    • Lead and manage a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities

    • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the IT department

    • Collaborate with other departments to identify and address business needs and opportunities
  4. Cybersecurity and Risk Management

    • Develop and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy to protect our technology systems and data

    • Identify and mitigate potential security risks and threats

    • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement risk management strategies
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in IT operations and management, with a focus on leadership and strategy
  • Proven track record of success in IT project management and implementation
  • Strong technical skills, including experience with cloud-based technologies, cybersecurity, and data analytics
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior leadership, IT staff, and other stakeholders
