About the Role:
The Alliance for Arts and Culture is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director to lead the development and implementation of our arts programs and services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the fiscal management of our programs, including budget preparation and reporting, as well as managing our board and ensuring effective communication with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fiscal Management: Develop and manage budgets, financial reports, and forecasts to ensure the financial sustainability of our programs.
- Board Management: Provide strategic guidance and support to our board, ensuring effective decision-making and governance.
- Grant Writing: Research and write grant proposals to secure funding for our programs and services.
- Long-Term Fundraising Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to secure sustainable funding for our programs.
- Public Relations and Communications: Develop and implement a communications strategy to promote our programs and services to stakeholders.
- Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of our programs, including supervision of staff, contractors, and service providers.
Qualifications:
We are seeking a candidate with a minimum of 5 years of experience in arts and/or non-profit management and leadership. You will have a proven track record of success in fiscal management, grant writing, and fundraising, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.
