Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Luong's Restaurant. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring that all dishes meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Menu Planning: Develop and implement menus that are appealing to our customers and meet our culinary standards.
  • Staff Management: Supervise and train kitchen staff, including cooks, dishwashers, and other support staff, to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
  • Cleanliness and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations and guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills: Excellent culinary skills, leadership abilities, and attention to detail.
Work Environment:

Our kitchen is a fast-paced environment where you will be working with a team to prepare and serve food to our customers. You will be required to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads.
