Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Luong's Restaurant. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Menu Planning: Develop and implement menus that showcase our restaurant's culinary expertise and appeal to a wide range of customers.
  • Food Preparation: Oversee the preparation and presentation of all menu items, ensuring that they are consistently delicious and visually appealing.
  • Team Management: Lead and motivate a team of cooks and kitchen staff to achieve exceptional results and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels and ordering to ensure that we have the necessary ingredients and supplies to meet customer demand.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that all food meets our high standards.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant.
  • Security and Safety: Criminal record check.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, work under pressure.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, dependability, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, team player.
