About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Officer to join our team at ReForest London. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping
    • Accurately record and reconcile financial transactions
    • Prepare and maintain general ledgers and financial statements
  • Financial Reporting
    • Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements
    • Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management
  • Payroll and Benefits
    • Process payroll and benefits for employees
    • Ensure compliance with payroll and benefits regulations
  • Tax Compliance
    • Prepare and file tax returns
    • Ensure compliance with tax regulations
  • Financial Planning
    • Assist in the development of financial plans and budgets
    • Monitor and analyze financial performance
Requirements
  • Education
    • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in finance or accounting
  • Skills
    • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
