Job Title: Finance Subject Matter Expert

WinAir is seeking a highly skilled Finance Subject Matter Expert to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing expert insights and support to various teams and initiatives throughout the business lifecycle.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert consulting services to clients regarding accounting software integrations with WinAir.
  • Support internal teams with accounting best practices and provide product demonstrations to new and existing customer leads.
  • Assist in the product development life cycle with advancements to accounting functionality within WinAir.
  • Work with other team members to ensure proper documentation and training materials are available regarding accounting functionality within WinAir.
  • Provide customer relationship management to customer's financial teams.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in an accounting background (mandatory).
  • Previous experience in accounting industry (5+ years).
  • Previous experience in delivering end-user training or providing consultation services is preferred.
  • Previous experience or education in technical writing is an asset.
Skills and Aptitudes:
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Demonstrate the ability to communicate with all levels of an organization with professionalism and best practice expertise.
  • Proactive self-learner with a strong commitment to continuous learning.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Assertive technical/analytic mindset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to effectively analyze and assist with the client's needs.
  • High technical aptitude and proficiency with general information technology.
  • Exceptional attention to details and organizational skills.
Environment and Physical:
  • Must reside in Canada.
  • Must be able to work remotely and on-site upon request.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Be able to sit for prolonged periods of time.
  • Be able to travel to client locations (Required: valid driver's license and passport).
