Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a diverse range of activities and programs that cater to the physical, cognitive, social, and spiritual needs of residents.
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure seamless integration of activities with resident care plans.
  • Build and maintain relationships with residents, family members, and staff to create a sense of community and belonging.
  • Plan and coordinate social events, outings, and celebrations that promote social interaction and community engagement.
  • Work closely with the activities team to ensure a cohesive and engaging activities program.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of activities and programs, making adjustments as needed to ensure resident satisfaction and engagement.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience working in a health care setting, preferably with a social or recreational activities program.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve common goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • COVID vaccination required.
