Job Details
We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our team. As a trusted advisor, you will ensure the efficient and effective operation of our business.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to partners and members of the firm, including drafting documents, managing files, and performing other administrative tasks.
- Support the Senior Associate in their administrative tasks, including diary management, email, and telephone messages.
- Participate in file compliance management and archiving procedures.
- Assist in the drafting of tax memos and the preparation of corporate and trust tax returns.
- Participate in individual tax season, including printing, assembling, and electronically transmitting returns.
- Assign and manage codes for all employees to governments and assist in updating firm administrative procedures.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and other administrative tasks as required by the firm.
Requirements
- Professionalism and discretion.
- Adaptability and stress management skills.
- Good judgment, effective management of priorities, sense of organization, and responsibility.
- Ability to manage several files simultaneously.
- Excellent customer service and respect for confidentiality.
- Punctuality.
- Excellent knowledge of French and English (spoken and written).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Knowledge of the CCH Taxprep suite, Caseware, and Sage50.
