Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at the New Nechako Centre. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting the well-being of our clients.

Job Summary

Under the general supervision of a Registered Nurse (Clinical Team Lead), you will assist with a range of nursing procedures, including the distribution of medications and providing personal care assistance to clients. Your strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with others will be essential in this role.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with nursing procedures, including medication distribution and personal care assistance
  • Work effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams to provide high-quality care
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance your skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing LPN registrant
  • Holds a valid BC Drivers License
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to deal with others effectively
  • Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position
