Senior Account Executive - Equipment Rentals

As a Senior Account Executive at United Rentals, you will play a vital role in driving sales growth and building strong customer relationships within our rental equipment division. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing customized solutions to meet customer needs, and managing a portfolio of existing accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share within assigned territories.
  • Identify and qualify potential customers through networking, lead generation activities, and industry events.
  • Conduct in-depth needs assessments to understand customer requirements and propose tailored equipment rental solutions.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements with clients to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within existing accounts to foster loyalty and drive repeat business.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including operations, logistics, and customer support, to ensure seamless delivery of rental equipment and exceptional customer service.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to identify new sales opportunities and enhance product knowledge.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of proven experience in inside sales, account management, or a similar role within the equipment rental industry.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify customer needs and develop effective solutions.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
