At Microsoft, we are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Executive to join our team. As a Commercial Executive, you will play a critical role in driving the success of our Enterprise Operating Unit by delivering World Class Deal making across a mix of industry-based customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop Commercial Plans: Analyze customer history and anticipate renewals to develop commercial plans for strategic accounts.
  • Negotiate Complex Commercial Terms: Collaborate with leaders to negotiate complex commercial terms, using formal strategies and understanding stakeholder priorities.
  • Assess Deal Risks: Assess deal risks, including contract growth and legal issues, escalating as needed, and coach on risk assessment and leverage resources to judge risk-taking opportunities.
  • Drive Adherence to Commercial Solutions Policy: Drive adherence to commercial solutions policy and coach sales team for compliance, partnering with High Risk Deal Desk (HRDD) and audit teams.
Requirements:
  • 7+ Years Sales and Negotiation Experience: Required minimum qualification.
  • Additional or Preferred Qualifications: 9+ years sales and negotiation experience, or Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Information Technology, Law, Marketing, Finance, Communication, Education (or equivalent) or related field and 7+ years sales and negotiation experience or related work or internship experience.

Commercial Sales IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across Canada is CAD $102,300 - CAD $168,300 per year.
