Hotel Receptionist Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Hotel Receptionist to join our team at Days Inn. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable stay.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Guest Registration: Register arriving guests, assign rooms, and process room reservations.
  • Complaint Resolution: Investigate and resolve guest complaints and claims in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Front Desk Operations: Balance cash, complete balance sheets, and maintain an inventory of vacancies and room assignments.
  • Communication: Answer telephone calls, relay messages, and provide general information about hotel facilities and services.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, assist guests with special needs, and ensure a positive guest experience.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Working Conditions:

  • 38 hours per week
  • Permanent position
