Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Manager at Alberta Health Services, you will play a vital role in supporting patient care at Willow Square Continuing Care Centre. Reporting to the Area Manager, Seniors Health, you will lead and manage a dedicated team, shaping an integrated and holistic approach to patient care, positively impacting residents and families.

  • Develop and maintain an effective framework for facility operations, ensuring seamless delivery of care services.
  • Oversee the implementation of efficient, effective, and safe care practices, fostering a culture of excellence and quality.

Leadership and Team Management:

You will be responsible for leading and managing a team of healthcare professionals, providing coaching, mentoring, and guidance to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care. Strong decision-making, leadership, and communication skills are essential in this role.

  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance team performance, productivity, and job satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including residents, families, and healthcare professionals.

Operational Excellence:

You will be responsible for overseeing facility activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and implementing quality improvement initiatives. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential in this role.

  • Develop and implement operational plans to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and safety.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.

Required Qualifications:

Current registration with CRNA is required. A minimum of five years' nursing experience in Continuing Care and/or Acute Care, as well as a minimum of two years' management experience in a unionized environment, are also required.

Preferred Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred.
