Job Summary

Pomeroy Lodging LP is seeking a highly skilled Housekeeping Manager to join our team. As a Housekeeping Manager, you will be responsible for exceeding guest expectations through the mentorship of your team and creating a positive first impression of our hotel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Visible in operations throughout the day, supporting quality first impressions at the front desk, lobby, and guest entrance.
  • Mentor team members to create exceptional guest experiences and ensure optimal first impressions.
  • Provide direct reports with the resources, training, direction, coaching, and feedback required for their continuous development.
  • Execute assigned deliverables in a timely and high-quality manner, with minimal follow-up required.
  • Utilize problem-solving and interpersonal skills to resolve guest issues and complaints effectively.
  • Champion all emergency procedures for the hotel to protect the privacy and security of guests, colleagues, and the hotel.
  • Create and manage schedules for the cleaning of condo units and common areas, ensuring timely execution.

Requirements

  • One year of experience in a housekeeping leadership role.
  • Excellent listening, communication, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Tech-savvy and proficient in English.
  • Attention to detail and pride in a quality job well done.

Working Conditions

This position may require long days and/or weekends to meet business demands or deadlines. The role is set in a fast-paced environment, requiring continuous physical movement and the ability to manage multiple sequences and demands. The position will require periods of independent work and the ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
