Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at Bar.B.Q 1988. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our business runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Train Staff: Lead and motivate our team of servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to provide excellent customer service and ensure that our restaurant is running at its best.
  • Manage Inventory and Supplies: Oversee the ordering and inventory of food, beverages, and supplies to ensure that we have what we need to provide our customers with a great dining experience.
  • Balance Cash and Complete Financial Reports: Manage our cash flow and complete financial reports to ensure that our business is running efficiently and effectively.
  • Plan and Implement Operational Procedures: Develop and implement operational procedures to ensure that our restaurant is running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Conduct Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews with our staff to ensure that they are meeting our high standards of customer service and quality.
  • Cost Products and Services: Analyze and manage our costs to ensure that we are providing our customers with the best value for their money.
  • Organize and Maintain Inventory: Oversee the organization and maintenance of our inventory to ensure that we have what we need to provide our customers with a great dining experience.
  • Address Customer Complaints: Respond to customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner to ensure that our customers are satisfied with their dining experience.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Ensure that our customers receive exceptional service and that their needs are met.
  • Plan, Organize, Direct, Control, and Evaluate Daily Operations: Oversee the daily operations of our restaurant to ensure that everything is running smoothly and efficiently.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree in a related field.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software.
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Willing to travel and have a valid driver's license.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, dependable, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, flexibility, organized, reliable, team player, and ability to multitask.
