Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Manager to join our team at A&W. As a key member of our restaurant operations team, you will be responsible for assisting the Restaurant Manager in achieving A&W's service, operational, marketing, and financial goals. This includes leading a high-performing team, driving sales growth, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a dynamic and customer-centric restaurant team, fostering a positive work environment and promoting a culture of excellence.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, improve customer satisfaction, and increase operational efficiency.
  • Manage restaurant operations, including inventory management, labor scheduling, and supply chain logistics.
  • Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager to achieve A&W's business objectives, including sales targets, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of restaurant staff, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Monitor and analyze restaurant performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with A&W's policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in restaurant management or a related field.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and increasing operational efficiency.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a high-performing team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
