Job Title: Director of Environmental Services

At HDR, we are committed to delivering exceptional engineering, architecture, environmental, and construction services. As a Director of Environmental Services, you will play a key role in leading our Water Business Group in Canada.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement business group initiatives to drive growth and success in Canada.
  • Lead the development of effective regional business group programs, including business development strategies, technical services, quality, production methods, and standards.
  • Collaborate with Regional Business Group Directors, Regional Operations Directors, Area Managers, and Market Sector Directors to drive business group strategies and initiatives.
  • Participate in water industry associations and organizations to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
  • Provide strong business leadership as the Business Group point of interface with Operations.
  • Commit to quality, improvement, and HDR values.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a closely related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with regional managers, technical directors, and client development teams.
  • Must reside within the Greater Toronto Area or be willing to relocate.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 15+ years of experience in a related field.
  • Proven relationships within major water organizations in Canada.
  • Commitment to quality improvement and HDR values.
  • Experience with alternative delivery contracting and risk management.
