Qualifications:
- Registered with the College of Kinesiology of Ontario
- Graduate of a recognized Kinesiology degree program
- Newly licensed graduates are encouraged to apply
- 1-5 years of experience in Occupational Rehabilitation is preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct biomechanical, fitness, and functional assessments under the guidance of a physiotherapist
- Design and oversee exercise, work conditioning, and work hardening programs
- Lead exercise classes for seniors
- Perform regular reassessments of client progress
- Document findings in client records consistently
- Collaborate with clients to establish and meet functional goals
- Facilitate group orientations and educational sessions
- Prepare functional reports for initial, progress, and discharge evaluations
- Develop and document return-to-work plans with clients and employers
