About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Kinesiologist to join our team at Lifemark Physiotherapy Blackburn & Taylor Kidd. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform biomechanical, fitness, and functional assessments under the mentorship and direction of a physiotherapist.
  • Design, implement, and supervise graded exercise, work conditioning, and/or work hardening programs.
  • Teach exercise classes to seniors in a Retirement Residence setting.
  • Perform biweekly reassessment of client progress through functional testing.
  • Record functional and subjective findings in client charts on a regular basis.
  • Work cooperatively with clients to set and achieve functional goals.
  • Conduct group orientation and education lectures and regular one-on-one education to clients.
  • Complete functional components of reports for initial, progress, and discharge.
  • Ensure return to work plans with client and employer have been made and documented in the client chart.
Requirements
  • Registered with the College of Kinesiology of Ontario.
  • Graduate of a university Kinesiology degree program.
  • New licensed grad may apply.
  • Preferably with 1-5 years of work experience specializing in Occupational Rehabilitation is considered an asset.
