We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Kinesiologist to join our team at Lifemark Physiotherapy Blackburn & Taylor Kidd. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive biomechanical, fitness, and functional assessments to identify areas of improvement and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Design, implement, and supervise graded exercise, work conditioning, and work hardening programs to help patients achieve their goals.
- Teach exercise classes to seniors in a Retirement Residence setting, promoting healthy aging and independence.
- Conduct regular reassessments of patient progress through functional testing and record findings in client charts.
- Work collaboratively with patients to set and achieve functional goals, ensuring a positive and empowering experience.
- Develop and deliver group orientation and education lectures, as well as one-on-one education sessions, to promote patient understanding and engagement.
- Complete functional components of reports for initial, progress, and discharge, ensuring accurate and comprehensive documentation.
- Ensure return-to-work plans are made and documented in the client chart, facilitating a smooth transition back to work.
- Registered with the College of Kinesiology of Ontario.
- Graduate of a university Kinesiology degree program.
- Newly licensed graduates may apply.
- Preferably with 1-5 years of work experience in Occupational Rehabilitation, which is considered an asset.
