Aircraft Technician

We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Mechanic to join our team at Boeing Canada Operations Ltd. in Petawawa. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our aircraft.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble, disassemble, and modify aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes.
- Oversee assembly, disassembly, or overhaul of aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment.
- Troubleshoot complex pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components.
- Perform validation/verification testing of systems and components.
- Document procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance.
- Inspect components and verify repairs for flight worthiness requirements.
- 4+ years of aircraft maintenance experience required, preferably on the CH47 platform.
- Must have one of the following: Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA), Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME), Avionics Technician (AME-E) licensed or Military equivalent.
- Must be legally able to work in Canada.
- Must consent to Canadian Government Controlled Goods Program (CGP) assessment.
- Individual must not pose a risk for safeguarding of controlled goods.
- Must be eligible for Secret Level II security clearance.
- Must be eligible to handle US export-controlled data.
- Post-secondary education.
- Have successfully completed a formal, CH147 type training course related to their aviation specialty taught by an acceptable training organization.
- Knowledge of Royal Canadian Air Force Electronic Record Keeping System (ERKS) or Defense Resource Management Information System (DRMIS).
- Active Secret Level II Security Clearance.
This is a locally hired position in Canada. The employer is Boeing Canada. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada. Benefits and pay are determined by Canada and are not on Boeing US-based payroll. This is not an expatriate assignment.
Starting salary will be based on qualifications and experience. The range for this classification is $80,000-$93,000 annually. This is a full-time opportunity that provides full company paid benefits, and a retirement savings plan.
