Job Summary
CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Therapist to provide exceptional care to our clients. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality therapy services to individuals struggling with depression and trauma.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize evidence-based approaches, such as CBT and DBT, to provide effective treatment for depression and trauma concerns.
- Work with clients to address issues related to systemic workplace stress and routine exposure to direct trauma.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, monitoring client progress throughout the therapy process.
- Collaborate with the clinical management team to ensure seamless delivery of services.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
- Registration or clinical membership with a relevant governing body, with the ability to deliver psychotherapy services in the province of practice.
- 3-5 years of clinical counselling experience post-Master's degree.
- Experience in trauma/PTSD counselling, including working with First Responder populations, is a strong asset.
- Professional liability insurance coverage of $2,000,000 or as otherwise determined by CB Canada.
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
- Written and verbal French language fluency is an asset.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook).
