As a Payroll Specialist at Quantic Dream, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and confidentiality. Your role will involve processing semi-monthly payrolls and off-cycle payrolls, managing RRSPs & DPSPs related contributions, and overseeing interactions with our payroll provider.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage payroll documentation and reporting, including maintaining files and records, generating reports, and preparing journal entries.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and legislative requirements, staying up-to-date with current payroll-related legislation.
- Address internal and external payroll inquiries and assist employees with bi-monthly timesheet maintenance.
- Collaborate with the payroll provider to resolve any issues or discrepancies.
Requirements:
- College diploma in accounting or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of experience in payroll or a similar field.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Accreditation as a Payroll Compliance Professional (PCP) is an asset.
- Experience acting as a point of contact with an external payroll provider is an asset.
