Payroll Specialist Role at 2K

As a Payroll Specialist at 2K, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and confidentiality. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage payroll processing, including semi-monthly and off-cycle payrolls, and oversee interactions with our payroll provider.
  2. Ensure compliance with company policies and legislative requirements, staying up-to-date with current payroll-related legislation.
  3. Provide expert customer service and support to employees, managers, and departments, addressing internal and external payroll inquiries.
  4. Maintain accurate payroll documentation and reporting, generating reports and assisting with year-end documents.
Requirements and Qualifications
  1. College diploma in accounting or equivalent.
  2. At least 3 years of experience in payroll or a similar field.
  3. Proficiency in Excel and strong analytical skills.
  4. Accreditation as a Payroll Compliance Professional (PCP) is an asset.
  5. Experience acting as a point of contact with an external payroll provider is also an asset.
