As a Payroll Specialist at 2K, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and confidentiality. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities- Manage payroll processing, including semi-monthly and off-cycle payrolls, and oversee interactions with our payroll provider.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and legislative requirements, staying up-to-date with current payroll-related legislation.
- Provide expert customer service and support to employees, managers, and departments, addressing internal and external payroll inquiries.
- Maintain accurate payroll documentation and reporting, generating reports and assisting with year-end documents.
- College diploma in accounting or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of experience in payroll or a similar field.
- Proficiency in Excel and strong analytical skills.
- Accreditation as a Payroll Compliance Professional (PCP) is an asset.
- Experience acting as a point of contact with an external payroll provider is also an asset.
