About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Auto Claims Manager to join our dynamic team at Northbridge Financial Corporation. As a Claims Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of claims professionals in managing and resolving auto claims in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of claims professionals in managing and resolving auto claims
  • Develop and implement effective claims handling strategies to ensure timely and efficient resolution of claims
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as underwriting and customer service, to ensure seamless communication and resolution of claims
  • Conduct thorough investigations and assessments of claims to determine liability and damages
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, agents, and other stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in claims management

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in an insurance-related field or related program
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the property and casualty insurance industry, with a minimum of 3-5 years of claims leadership experience
  • Strong knowledge of principles and practices related to claims settlement, policy wordings, insurance contracts, fraud investigations, serious losses, and coverage questions
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of claims professionals
