Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Taco Time. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our food service staff, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Oversee the activities of food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate and manage inventory of ingredients and supplies to ensure efficient meal preparation and minimize waste.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all food and service meet our quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports to management on key performance indicators.
  • Work Scheduling: Establish and manage work schedules to ensure adequate staffing and efficient operations.
  • Supervision: Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys to ensure timely and accurate service.
Requirements
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment with a fast-paced and dynamic atmosphere.
  • Supervision: 3-4 direct reports, including food service counter attendants and food preparers.
  • Language: English (primary language of communication).
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week, with flexibility to adapt to changing business needs.
