Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Train Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment for customers and staff.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that their needs are met.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing accurate and timely information to management.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Setting: Food service establishment, coffee shop.
  • Tasks: Establish methods to meet work schedules, supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff, train staff, ensure quality control, address customer complaints, maintain records.
  • Supervision: 5-10 people, food service counter attendants, food preparers.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, team player.

  • 1 year to less than 2 years.
