About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Program Manager to lead complex initiatives at Ontario Health related to patient and provider navigation. The successful candidate will support the Director, Digital Navigation in implementing navigation strategies that improve customer experience outcomes for providers and patients using Ontario Health's digital services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and develop effective communication and interaction strategies with various stakeholders, including senior leaders, funders, executives, the board, and external government stakeholders.
  • Assess and implement formal change management methodologies and practices to drive behavioral changes.
  • Develop and implement performance evaluation approaches and ensure the successful outcomes of the program, which may be province-wide.
  • Collaborate effectively within the team and provide leadership, subject matter expertise, guidance, and support to work towards a common goal.
  • Provide client service to internal teams and external stakeholders, including government, and other partners in the delivery of the health system.
  • Provide thought leadership for the strategy and execution of the program.
  • Lead change within the context of the overall program.
  • Coach program stakeholders and partners on program aspects and execution.
  • Make decisions, with the support of Director level, where results have major impact across the organization.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Health Studies, Public Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Project Management or related professional designation as an asset.
  • 7-10 years of overall experience in related roles with progressively increasing scale and scope of execution authority up to a leadership role.
  • Experience in the healthcare sector and the public service, and existing relationships are preferred.
  • Extensive experience in contract and budget management.
  • Experience working in a hybrid environment.
  • Experience planning and leading large meetings.
  • Advanced knowledge of the Project Management LifeCycle and Software Development LifeCycle, as well as modern ways of working (e.g., Agile/Scrum).
