Job Summary:
The Human Resources Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the Occupational Health and Workplace Safety and Health programs at Prairie Mountain Health. This position provides administrative, organizational, and clerical support to ensure the smooth operation of these programs.
Key Responsibilities:
General Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the Occupational Health and Workplace Safety and Health programs, including reception duties, correspondence, and supply management.
- Assist with project work and special initiatives as required.
- Maintain confidentiality of all information in accordance with Prairie Mountain Health policy.
- Assume responsibility for personal and professional growth.
- Participate in staff development programs.
Occupational Health Responsibilities:
- Review and maintain Occupational Health information related to employees.
- Maintain and organize Occupational Health files, including data entry and report compilation.
- Schedule clinics and staff appointments with required documentation.
Workplace Safety & Health Responsibilities:
- Conduct fit testing for site and regional program employees as defined by the Prairie Mountain Health Fit Testing program.
- Complete data entry and run reports related to fit testing records.
- Maintain communication with managers to keep fit testing current and arrange testing as required.
- Travel to sites within the region as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
