About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at PhotoSat Information Ltd. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing goods and services to support our business operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Purchase general and specialized equipment, materials, or business services to meet the needs of our organization.
  • Assess the requirements of our establishment to develop specifications for equipment, materials, and supplies to be purchased.
  • Develop specifications for equipment, materials, and supplies to be purchased, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations.
  • Negotiate offers from suppliers to secure the best possible prices and terms.
  • Consult with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality of goods and services.
  • Hire, train, and supervise staff to support procurement operations.
  • Review quotations and award contracts to appropriate parties.
  • Establish delivery schedules and monitor progress to ensure timely receipt of goods and services.
  • Contact clients and suppliers to resolve any issues or concerns.
  • Plan, organize, and oversee operational logistics to ensure efficient and effective procurement processes.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Perform internal audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in procurement or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Geography or cartography background.
  • Experience with Geographic Information System (GIS) software.
  • Knowledge of MS Office and database management systems.
  • Specialized environmental skills and knowledge.
