About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at NORTHLAND PROPERTIES CORPORATION. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for sourcing and acquiring goods and services to support our business operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Purchasing and Acquisition
    • Procure general and specialized equipment, materials, and business services to meet the needs of our organization.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
  • Contract Management
    • Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
    • Review and analyze quotations to ensure best value for the company.
  • Logistics and Operations
    • Coordinate the delivery and receipt of goods and services to ensure timely and efficient processing.
    • Monitor and report on procurement activities to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Experience
    • 1-2 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a fast-paced office environment with frequent deadlines and changing priorities.
  • Travel
    • Occasional travel may be required to meet with suppliers or attend industry events.
