Job Title: Procurement Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Procurement Specialist for a reputable organization in the Metro Vancouver region. This role involves overseeing the competitive bidding process, managing RFPs, contractual agreements, and vendor support. As a Procurement Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting our operations and working collaboratively within a large team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end competitive bidding processes
- Create and draft RFPs and RFQs
- Conduct research, analyze metrics, and provide reports to the procurement team
- Handle vendor inquiries and maintain communication throughout the bidding process
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Procurement Specialist, preferably in the Public sector
- Diploma in Material Management, Business Management, or Public Administration
- Ability to prepare RFQs, RFPs, and Tenders
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and SharePoint
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Effective time management and organizational abilities
