Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective sourcing and supply chain strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Oversee the procurement of equipment, materials, and services across various departments.
  • Manage purchasing requests from sales, production, service, and engineering teams.
  • Optimize inventory management by establishing minimum and maximum stock levels in collaboration with production and engineering leaders.
  • Continuously assess products and suppliers to identify opportunities for cost savings and supply chain enhancements.
  • Monitor vendor performance and provide key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management.
  • Negotiate advantageous terms with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and timely delivery.
  • Ensure adherence to corporate policies and procurement guidelines.
  • Issue purchase orders and track purchases to ensure prompt delivery while resolving any discrepancies.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • APICS, ISM, NCMA, or equivalent supply chain certification.
  • A minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in procurement or supply chain management.
  • Strong capabilities in strategic planning, project management, process optimization, and team development.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions based on market trends.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio, and Project.

This role requires a proactive approach to collaboration and team building across the organization.
