About the Role

We are seeking a visionary Director, Enterprise Architecture to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to lead the planning, design, and operationalization of digital and modernization/migration of core capabilities and technologies. The ideal candidate will be passionate about technology and architecture, with a strong background in software engineering.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Enterprise Architecture practice across the broader enterprise and communicate the architecture strategy and approach across the organization.
  • Create implementation plans for enterprise architecture based on business capability modeling, strategy, and requirements.
  • Manage the EA process, architecture review, and governance, and lead the integration of those processes with related business and IT functions.
  • Develop diagnostics and actionable deliverables that help guide investment decisions.
  • Present gap analyses and integrated IT application, infrastructure, and security investment roadmaps that reflect required transition to future-state business capabilities with a focus on digital platforms.
Requirements
  • University degree in business, computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, system analysis, or a related field of study, or equivalent experience.
  • Experienced in enterprise, solution, and application architecture, with a strong background as a software engineer.
  • Knowledge of business ecosystems, software as a service (SaaS), infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), SOA, APIs, open data, microservices, event-driven IT, and predictive analytics.
  • Technology competency areas – Cloud Native, Microservices, and APIs, Reactive Systems, Analytics & Streaming Pipelines, DevOps – CI/CD.
  • Excellent written, verbal, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to articulate new ideas and concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
