Design Researcher and Strategist Opportunity

We are seeking a talented Design Researcher and Strategist to join our team at Design Centered Co. As a key member of our design team, you will play a crucial role in helping our clients drive change and deliver value using customer insights.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a UX Researcher to join our candidate pool. We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of accessibility and usability, as well as experience conducting primary and secondary UX research. If you have a passion for delivering solutions that are impact-driven, human-centered, and evidence-based, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct primary and secondary UX research to inform design decisions
  • Translate research insights into actionable recommendations for Service Design, UX, and UI design
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of accessibility and usability principles
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver design solutions that meet business objectives
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UX research and design
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of consistent professional experience in the design field, with at least 2 years of experience conducting UX research
  • Strong understanding of accessibility and usability principles
  • Experience translating research insights into actionable recommendations for Service Design, UX, and UI design
  • Portfolio demonstrating past work experience and deliverables
  • Valid work permit to work in Canada, if not a Citizen or Permanent Resident
