About the Role

We're seeking a Senior UX Researcher to join our product design team. As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in understanding and evangelizing our users' evolving needs, behaviors, and motivations. You'll lead research initiatives that inform the design and development of our products, ensuring they're intuitive, engaging, and meet the needs of our diverse user base.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead and manage end-to-end UX research projects, from planning and conducting research to synthesizing findings and presenting insights.
  2. Design and execute qualitative and quantitative research methods, including user interviews, usability testing, surveys, and contextual inquiries.
  3. Collaborate with designers, product managers, engineers, and other UX researchers to prioritize research opportunities in a fast-paced environment.
  4. Understand and incorporate complex technical and business requirements into research to plan and prioritize research initiatives.
  5. Advocate for user-centered design principles and best practices throughout the product development lifecycle.
  6. Stay up-to-date with the latest UX research trends, tools, and methodologies, and apply them to improve research processes.
  7. Oversee and elevate the quality of UXR research, mentoring and guiding junior UX researchers to foster a culture of learning and growth.
  8. Socialize research findings to diverse audiences through written reports and presentations.
About You
  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Anthropology, or a related field.
  2. 5+ years of experience in UX research, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of research methodologies and their impact.
  3. Data-driven with proven ability to lead complex research projects and deliver actionable insights.
  4. Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize data from multiple sources into clear recommendations.
  5. Experience with statistical analysis software, such as SPSS, R, or Jamovi.
  6. Proficiency in UX research tools and software, including UserTesting and Qualtrics.
  7. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex research findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
  8. Ability to understand business needs and prioritize research initiatives accordingly.
  9. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and excellent organization skills.
  10. A passion for understanding user needs and deep empathy for users' experiences.
  11. Experience leading and managing other researchers.
