Join our exceptional team of Defined Benefits (DB) Administration experts within Retirement Consulting. We take pride in having specialists located nationwide who are enthusiastic about assisting clients in managing their DB pension plans. Our primary focus is on serving the small to midsize market, offering a broad spectrum of service models tailored to meet the unique requirements of each client. Your Impact and Our Collective AchievementsAs a Senior Pension Analyst, you will deliver analytical and administrative support to clients, plan members, and the team. Your responsibilities will encompass various pension calculations and administrative projects, including Pension Indexation, Pension Adjustments, Valuation Data Extracts, and Annual Statements.
Key Responsibilities- Utilize our proprietary administration system and pension databases to conduct data reconciliations, contribution reconciliations, and benefit calculations.
- Address routine inquiries and requests from clients and plan members.
- Assist in the preparation of year-end annual pension statements.
- Collaborate within a team, following guidance from senior members to deliver quality, client-focused administrative services for our corporate clients.
- Enhance your industry knowledge through participation in internal training sessions.
- Support special projects and tasks as needed.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in pension administration, analysis, or implementation.
- A college diploma or Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, mathematics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and mathematical abilities.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated customer service experience.
- Excellent organizational and time management capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work collaboratively as well as independently.
- A keen interest in problem-solving and continuous learning.
- ASA designation and/or background in DB pension actuarial science.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French.
