Job Overview

Shape Industries Inc is seeking a dedicated Production Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position that offers a challenging yet rewarding environment.

Educational Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program lasting 1 to 2 years.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compile and manage orders and instructions received from clients.
  • Develop specific strategies to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Organize and delegate tasks to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Review and adjust the type and quantity of materials needed for production and construction.
  • Track and finalize work orders efficiently.
  • Coordinate activities with various departments and work units.
  • Monitor the movement of supplies and materials across departments.
  • Perform routine clerical tasks as required.
  • Interpret blueprints, specifications, and production drawings.
  • Oversee personnel workloads and their respective locations.
  • Conduct general office duties to support operations.
  • Resolve operational issues, provide technical guidance, and recommend improvements to enhance productivity and product quality.
  • Coordinate activities with warehouse and production teams.
  • Manage the flow of supplies to ensure smooth operations.
  • Compile worksheets and specifications for orders.
  • Estimate the materials and labor required for various projects.
  • Monitor the progress of production activities.
  • Assign, review, and coordinate work tasks among team members.
  • Follow up on any issues related to work orders.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Supervise staff across various areas of responsibility.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in the following software is essential:

  • Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software
