Logistics Operations Coordinator

Mecs Daedal Canada Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Operations Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the logistics operations of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Order Management: Compile and prioritize orders received from customers, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Task Planning: Develop and implement plans to optimize task allocation and workflow, maximizing efficiency and productivity.
- Operational Oversight: Monitor and oversee the operational logistics of the organization, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Work Order Management: Track and complete work orders, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
- Team Coordination: Coordinate activities with other work units and departments, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Personnel Management: Monitor personnel workloads and locations, ensuring optimal resource allocation and utilization.
- Warehouse and Production Coordination: Coordinate activities with warehouse and production units, ensuring timely and accurate processing of orders.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and maintain progress reports, worksheets, and specifications of orders, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Emergency Response: Dispatch personnel as required by emergency situations, ensuring prompt and effective response.
- Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule assignments and coordinate activities of vehicle operators, crews, and equipment, ensuring optimal resource allocation and utilization.
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. As a Logistics Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the logistics operations of our organization. Requirements- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management.
- Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in electronic mail, spreadsheet, MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Office.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work independently, in a fast-paced environment, and under pressure. Ability to work with repetitive tasks and maintain attention to detail.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, organized, reliability, team player, accurate, initiative, judgement, analytical, and proactive.
