About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Coordinator to join our team at Shape Industries Inc. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the production process from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Order Management: Compile and prioritize orders received from customers, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Production Planning: Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demands, taking into account material requirements and production schedules.
  • Supply Chain Management: Coordinate the movement of supplies and materials between departments, ensuring efficient and cost-effective logistics.
  • Task Management: Assign and review tasks with production team members, ensuring timely completion and quality control.
  • Quality Control: Monitor production progress and identify areas for improvement, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Communication: Coordinate with warehouse and production units to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Reporting: Compile and analyze production data, providing regular reports to management on production performance and trends.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a production or supply chain role.
  • Skills: Enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, MS Outlook, Internet, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Windows, MS Office.
  • Personal Qualities: Ability to work independently, fast-paced environment, work under pressure, attention to detail, physically demanding.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced production environment with tight deadlines.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift over 45 kg (100 lbs) and work in a physically demanding environment.
