Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and organized self-service area, ensuring a safe and efficient shopping environment for customers.
  • Provide education and support to customers on the correct use of self-service options, promoting a seamless shopping experience.
  • Upsell and promote company-sponsored programs, such as credit card services and charity initiatives, to enhance customer engagement.
  • Monitor customer activity and provide assistance when needed, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Respond to EAS alarms and complete necessary documentation, demonstrating a commitment to security and compliance.
  • Communicate effectively with the Customer Service Manager to resolve technical issues and maintain a smooth operation of the self-service area.
  • Return Scan & Go scanners to their designated home after use, ensuring efficient inventory management.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A strong commitment to customer service and a passion for delivering exceptional experiences.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • A high level of attention to detail, with the ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash and operate a point-of-sale system.
  • A willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset:

  • Previous experience in a retail or customer-facing role.
  • Knowledge of Walmart's policies and procedures.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
