Job Summary

As a Self-Checkout Attendant at Walmart Canada, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. This role involves assisting customers with processing transactions through the self-service area(s) and promoting company sponsor programs when applicable.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain a clean and organized workspace, free of debris and foreign objects.
Educate customers on the correct use of self-service options and promote company sponsor programs when applicable.
Observe customer activities to determine when assistance is needed and provide support when required.
Demonstrate knowledge of responding to EAS alarms and filling out the "Failure to Deactivate" Log.
Communicate effectively with the Customer Service Manager when the self-service area(s) is low on cash or has a technical issue.
